Click to edit is in the preview toolbar (Tap to edit on a phone). Switch it on, move over the page and the area under the pointer is outlined: a heading, a button, an image, a card, or a whole section. Click it and a small box opens beside your click.

Say what should change #

Type a request in the box, or pick one of its quick edits: one-click requests suited to what you clicked.

The assistant sees exactly what you clicked: the element, its text or image, the card or section around it, the neighbouring content, and the measured spacing above and below it, so "too much space here" or "move this up" is understood precisely.

The microphone in the box lets you say it instead; the words are added as soon as they arrive.

Comments, then Apply #

Nothing changes while you point. Pressing Enter (or the + button, or a quick edit) adds your words as a comment on that area: a numbered pin marks it, the box closes and you can click the next spot. A tray at the bottom of the preview counts the comments waiting; open it to read them, remove one with ×, or Discard all.

Apply N changes sends them all in one request:

• one reply says what changed for each comment, and one Undo takes them all back together;
• if two comments pull in different directions (one removes an area, another restyles it), the rest are applied and the assistant asks about that pair;
• typing in the chat box while comments wait sends them along with your message, so "do all of these and also tighten the footer" works.

Comments survive switching pages (pins stay on their own page) but are not saved: a reload, opening another site or Reset clears them. Up to 20 comments go in one Apply.

Replace a picture #

Click an image, attach a picture to the box and say "replace with this": the attached image is placed directly. Without an attachment, "swap photo" finds a new one in the site's image style. See Images.

Space between sections #

Each section owns its padding, so clicking inside a section's empty top or bottom selects the section and the measured spacing goes with the request. When there is real space between two sections, where the page background shows, a band marks it as a gap, with Remove gap, Smaller gap and Match other gaps.

After an edit #

The preview keeps your scroll position after the change is saved, the status shows in the pill at the bottom of the preview (Done, Partially done and so on, see Edit in chat), and pointing resumes so you can keep going. Escape closes an open box or leaves Click to edit.

Click to edit works on the pages InstaWP Studio designed. On an archive, a search page or a WordPress admin screen it is unavailable until a designed page is shown again.
